Privacy policy
This policy explains what personal information Thane & Co, LLC ("Thane & Co", "I", "me") collects through basiakubicka.com, my newsletters, and my paid programs, why I collect it, who helps me process it, and how you can ask me to delete it. Questions or requests: basia@before9.am.
What I collect
When you apply through the website form: your name, work email, company website, role, company size, your answers to the questions on the form, your preferred start date, and whether you hold budget authority.
When you join my email list or newsletter: your email address, your name if you give it, and whether you open or click my emails.
When you buy from me or work with me: your name, email, billing details, and purchase history, plus the information you share in calls, messages, and documents during an engagement. Our written agreement sets out how I handle client information. Card numbers are handled by the payment provider. I never see or store them.
Automatically, when you visit the website: my hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, to keep the site running and secure. This website does not use advertising pixels or tracking cookies. If that changes, I'll update this policy and ask for your consent first where the law requires it.
Why I use it
- To reply to your application and decide whether we're a good fit.
- To send you the newsletter or emails you signed up for.
- To deliver what you bought, invoice you, and keep accounting and tax records.
- To run a client engagement.
- To keep the website working and secure.
I do not sell your personal information, and I do not share it for advertising.

Each provider handles data under its own privacy terms, and some store data in the United States. Purchases made on Maven or Substack are also covered by those platforms' own privacy policies.
How long I keep it
- Applications that don't turn into work: up to 12 months, then deleted.
- Email list: until you unsubscribe. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Purchases, invoices, and contracts: as long as tax and legal rules require, usually 7 years.
Your rights
You can ask me to show you, correct, or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop emailing you. Email basia@before9.am and I'll respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK, you also have the right to object to processing, to ask for your data in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. California residents have similar rights under the CCPA, and I don't sell or share personal information as those laws define it.
Children
My services are for adults. I don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If I change this policy, I'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be announced by email to anyone on my list.
